About

Built for small businesses, by someone who actually does the work.

SonomaWebWorks is a one-person operation, founder-led, working out of Sonoma County. The work is real; the prices are honest; the person who picks up the phone is the person who builds your site.

I'm Daniel Bearden. I started SonomaWebWorks because I kept noticing a pattern: small businesses across Sonoma County either had a website that hadn't been touched since 2019, or they were paying $300-500 a month to an agency that took six weeks to ship a landing page and never called back.

Neither of those is a good outcome. The first means you're invisible to anyone searching for what you do. The second means you're paying real money for results you can't see.

SonomaWebWorks is the third option. Modern tools (including AI-assisted development) let me build the same quality of site in hours that an agency takes weeks for. That savings doesn't go into my margin; it goes into your price. The result: real custom websites starting at $99/month, no long contracts, transparent pricing, and the person who built it is the person you call when something breaks.

How We Operate

A few things worth saying upfront.

We do not lock you in.

No multi-year contracts. Month to month after the build. Cancel or downgrade any time.

You own everything.

Your domain, your content, your data. If you ever leave, we hand off the site files. No hostage-taking.

Pricing is on the website.

No "request a custom quote" runaround. The tier you see is the tier you pay. Project work above the tier scope is quoted upfront.

We have a small footprint deliberately.

We are a one-person operation, set up to serve 50-100 customers profitably with deep automation. We are not trying to be an agency.

Real maintenance, not just hosting.

Most "maintenance" plans are just hosting with a different name. Ours actually updates the site, monitors it, secures it, and ships content changes on a normal turnaround.

The bigger picture.

SonomaWebWorks is a service offering of Shellfinity LLC, a Sonoma County LLC. The parent company also works on software for a different industry. The local-services side exists to support the community I live in and to fund the broader work.

For you, this means: stability, transparent backing, and a founder who has both the technical depth to do good work and the local roots to actually show up at the shop.
